Cake Smash Session

The Set Decoration:

Whether you decide to bring your own child's decorations or you decide to have us custom design your set, this is one of the most important aspects to focus on for this session as it's what gives your images that individuality and character. If you have chosen to have us design your set, please communicate with me at least 3 weeks in advance what theme/ color scheme you would like. Also I’d like you to email us a picture of your little one's smash outfit.

The Cake:

Please prepare your little one an outfit to smash in. There are lots and lots of vendors on Etsy.com who make adorable little tutus, custom onesies, headbands, bow ties, and crowns. If you end up ordering an outfit online, make sure you order your outfit far in advance because many of these types of items are handmade and require a certain amount of time to create. Below there is a list of our favorite vendors who make the most adorable little outfits.

Tips:

Bring a lot of wipes, a towel, change of clothes for you and your little one.

Do a trial run with a cake or cupcake about a week in advance because sometimes the sticky texture of the frosting freaks out the little ones, so you want to get them used to it before the session arrives.

Order your outfit online at least a month in advance.
